Miss Gloria Design: Bio

Zodia

Born from the success of Astrology Tuesdays in the Bumble app, Zodia was a bold new venture from Bumble Inc, a standalone astrology and dating app tailored to Gen Z. 

From Gen Z-focused research and design ideation to full brand creation (logo, colour, type, art direction and design systems), I helped shape every visual element of the app and its launch. Each star sign had its own colour based on the elements, and its own logo using variable type, which we applied across every brand touchpoint—from bespoke in-app badges for members, to how we spoke about the signs in content and CRM. We also used elemental photography (fire, earth, water, air) to bring each sign to life in a way that felt rich and personal. I art directed the launch shoot in Australia, creating styling and location briefs, and worked closely with product to design UI that felt both expressive and accessible. The result was a vibrant, meaningful brand that felt totally unique to each user.
